Comedian Albano Bogdo has spoken again about dealing with mental health problems, where he revealed that he suffered from panic attacks.
Albano Bogdo has stated that the producer of the then show "2XL Apartment", Turjan Hysko, had sent him to the psychologist to get help and then to the 5th hospital.
He confessed that he initially refused to enter the hospital because they were afraid that they would lock him inside and that the first time the doctor visited him in Turjan Hysko's car. The actor said that the second time he went, he entered the hospital premises, as he added that "my eyes filled with tears, I realized how lucky I am, I had the mildest disease of all".
"I had been suffering from anxiety for years until it escalated into a panic attack, only schizophrenia surpasses a panic attack. Turi took me to 5, she took me to a psychologist, she understood that I was not related at all and understood that medication was needed. He told Turi that you should take him to a psychiatrist.
The next day, Turi tells me that we will go to 5-sa. I said to whom will I go on the 5th? The doctor visited me for the first time at Tur's car. I told him to go inside and be locked up, I know you won't let me out. I said they are locking me in in style. I had heard that they connected. The second time I entered, it was a hospital like any other, and the ward where the patients were was quite normal, not like the ones we've seen in movies. The doctor suggested, let's go to the ward, he told me. I thought it wasn't the first to enter, it's the second now.
The door of the pavilion was locked, the doctor told me there are 20 doctors inside. He just said close the door so no one comes out and hurts themselves. I entered the pavilion, stayed for 1 hour and my eyes filled with tears, I realized how lucky I am. I had the mildest illness of all" , said Albano Bogdo.
In a confession a few months ago, the actor said that he did not participate in some shows of "Apartment 2XL" as a result of the panic that seized him before entering the stage.
"I have suffered from anxiety since my early teens. I don't know, I had anxiety for no reason, sitting in class or at home. My heart rate increased, I was filled with cold sweat. I felt like I was going to die. Out of ignorance like me, like the doctors who were in Saranda, we went to hospitals and they did heart and thyroid tests. They led me to a dead end because they didn't know what to say.
They measured my heart rate, it was 140-150, they told me it's not normal. When I came to Tirana again the same thing. When I got sick, I went to the heart doctor. Until one day I was barely taken to a psychologist. Hardly in the sense that I told him, I don't have anything in my mind, I have it in my heart. It had nothing to do with shame. I talked to that psychologist, she was a woman, it made me worse. He gave me some herbs...
By this time I had passed into panic disorder. I no longer had anxiety. I was starting to panic, I was getting really sick. I was working at Apartment 2XL then, 3-4 times I ran away from the show when the show was about to start. When my name was announced, I was Albano Bogdo, I didn't go on stage, I left the building, I ran away, I ran away to the hospital. I was getting so bad. I was going to the hospital, my heart rate was 160-170. Very high voltage. They continued to visit me about my heart... I have nothing from my heart ", said Bogdo.
