The singer Evi Reçi, who became a mother a few weeks ago, has revealed more details of her life and motherhood as a new experience for her. While she was invited to Top Alabnia Radio yesterday, Evi said that she was the one who chose the boy's name, as it had several meanings.
"I chose the name, of course with the full approval of Kled. I wanted a name that actually has a meaning but isn't a name. Having a lot of influence from Greek culture, because I grew up there, the word Asteri means star, but it is not a name in Greece. Aster is a star and in English it is followed by A star. Then I saw that there was also a flower that bloomed in September and since we were expecting Aster in September I said okay there was a double meaning"
She also answered the question why she decided to do the birthing process in Austria even though she spent her months of pregnancy in Albania.
"In Albania I had a very active pregnancy. I wish every woman who is pregnant goes through this because when you are pregnant you don't get sick. You can definitely have complications, but when you're well it's okay to be active, and I've had all the check-ups in Albania, then two months ago, I moved to Austria because of the comfort offered to me here. Not that I wouldn't have it in Albania, but there was a slightly different protocol. The Austrian state then appointed a midwife completely free of charge to come to my home, and I have a woman come once or twice a week to check on the baby. Definitely the birth that I went through, the day I was going to give birth was a little difficult because I wanted to have a natural birth but it didn't happen that way. Everything was perfectly taken care of. Also for the practical fact that Kledi is with the Austrian papers"
