Personal messages between Prince Harry and British journalist Charlotte Griffiths have become part of a court case involving a British media company.
The materials were presented during the trial and relate to the prince's previous testimony, which stated that he had only met the journalist once and had stopped contact once he learned of her profession. The content of the communications suggests a continuation of contact beyond this claim.
According to court documents, the couple began communicating via social media in 2011, when the prince gave her his number. They met at a social event that same year and continued texting.
The communications include references to joint meetings and activities, as well as wording that suggests a closer relationship than was publicly stated. According to the journalist's testimony, the contacts continued throughout 2012.
In one of them, the journalist addresses him with “Hello, Mr. Naughty… What a crazy and fun weekend,” while Harry responds that it had been “without a doubt one of the best weekends .” In other communications, he invited her to various events, hinting at a greater closeness than he had publicly declared.

On the other hand, Prince Harry has maintained that he was unaware of her profession at the time of the meeting and that all communication was interrupted as soon as he learned this fact.
The case is part of a wider lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited, alleging illegal collection of information over the years. The company denies the allegations.
