Last night, during the live show of Big Brother VIP, three new housemates were introduced. One of them was Mateo, who was introduced as the former Brikena.
The new residents did not immediately join the current residents, as the production decided to have them stay in an isolated room.
Their task was to choose three of the current residents to be given immunity in the next televote. These three residents would then join the new residents in the isolation room.
The moment the new residents appeared on the big screen, Brikena reacted in surprise when she saw Mateo.
She stated that she knew him and had exchanged several messages with him about three years ago, but categorically denied having had any relationship with him. Unlike her, Mateo claimed that a sentimental relationship had existed between him and Brikena.
The situation became even more tense when Mateo chose Brikena as one of the housemates to grant her immunity, thus putting her in the same room with the new housemates. This action caused a strong reaction from Brikena, who exploded at the production, accusing it of using a "dirty game" to damage her image.
"I don't want to go! And to be honest, I understand more or less what Mateo's purpose was, and I don't agree at all with the production that you're trying to play such games just by trying to bring a person I knew abroad and there was nothing more, trying to start something to ruin my image, so I don't agree at all and I don't want to go there! No way! And I don't agree at all with the production for such a gesture!"
However, after moderator Ledion Liço's efforts to calm him down and convince him that there was no malicious intent on the part of the production, Brikena accepted the situation and entered the isolated room with the new residents.
