Rapper Ne-Yo's ex-fiancée has explained why their split happened a decade ago.
Monyetta Shaw-Carter gave an interview to "Haus of Aaron" and claimed that the reason why they decided to separate was the fact that the artist wanted other women in his bed besides her.
"We betrayed each other, but together. If that makes sense,” she said, then held up three fingers to explain that it meant they had also had a threesome.
"We were trying things together. And actually, it's not infidelity if you're okay with it," explained Monyetta Shaw-Carter.
The star of the reality show "Real Housewives of Atlanta" also showed that as a couple they "experimented" often, but did threesomes only 1-2 times a year.
However, Ne-Yo later continued to insist on asking for it more often. "I told him 'if you want this, it means you don't love me.' As much as I tried to describe something spicy that we do as a couple from time to time, it was not enough, she noted.
The former couple got engaged in 2010 but split three years later in 2013, just two months before their wedding. They have two children together, Madeline and Mason.
