Jada Pinkett Smith surprises with her statement: Will and I have been living apart since 2016

There have been many rumors of an open marriage (where both could have other partners) but Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that she and Will Smith have been separated for 7 years.

The couple married in 1997 and are the parents of three children.

In a recent interview with People, Jada opened up about her relationship and also revealed that she and Will were living apart at the time the actor punched Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

"We are still trying to save our marriage. We are both working hard together. We have a lot of love for each other, we just have to work hard to understand this".

The actress has stated that since 2016, she and Will live completely apart and each has their own life.
