Belgian actor Jean-Claude Van Damme has been accused of engaging in sexual relations with five Romanian women, who were allegedly victims of trafficking by a criminal group led by Romanian businessman and modeling agency owner Morel Bolea. According to reports from Antena 3 CNN, a criminal complaint has been filed with the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) in Romania, accusing Van Damme of these actions.
Lawyer Adrian Cuculis, representing one of the alleged victims, said the women were in a vulnerable position and had been exploited under Article 182 of the Romanian Criminal Code. He added that evidence shows Van Damme was aware of the women's situation.
These alleged events took place in Cannes, during an event organized by the actor. DIICOT is currently investigating these allegations, which are part of a broader investigation into human trafficking and minors, launched in 2020.
It is important to note that these are allegations and, to date, there has been no public statement from Jean-Claude Van Damme or his representatives regarding this matter.
