Jennifer Lopez was recently invited to "The Howard Stern Show", where she promoted her role in the film "Kiss of the Spider Woman", but also talked about love and relationships.
Asked if she had ever experienced true love for someone, she thought for a moment and then answered briefly: "No."
"What I learned wasn't that they didn't love me, it was that they weren't capable... They didn't have what they had. And they gave me what they had. They gave me everything, every time. All the rings, all the things I could ever want. The house, the ring, the wedding, all of that, but part of the problem was that I didn't love myself at the time," she admitted.
"When I got divorced last time, it was the best thing that ever happened to me, because it made me turn over a new leaf. I mean, I had a fitness trainer, I had a marriage therapist, I had an individual therapist. I had everything. I thought, 'I'm going to work this out, even if it kills me,'" Lopez said.
She says she now has a lot more confidence and is more aware of the situations that have happened to her. Lopez arrived at the premiere of “Kiss of the Spider Woman” in New York accompanied by her ex-partner Ben Affleck, who is also the producer of this project. However, a source close to the singer revealed that there is no romantic connection between them.
