Cole Walliser, the Canadian director, has denied claims that Jennifer Lopez was rude to him during her time at the 2026 Golden Globes. In a video posted on Instagram, Walliser said:
"I didn't take it personally. At the time, it didn't seem rude to me at all."
He explained that the viral incident where Lopez appears with her back to him was simply an accident:
"First of all, she was just focused on work. The red carpet was closed and she was ready to walk in. She knew exactly what she was going to do. She positioned herself immediately."
Walliser stressed that there was no malicious intent and that Lopez's behavior was natural for the busy red carpet moment.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez has regained the public's attention with her performances and messages about love, self-respect and personal growth. During a recent concert, she reflected on her famous hit "If You Had My Love," giving the song new meaning after personal experiences. Lopez said that today she sees love with clarity and strength, emphasizing that her future partner should respect and treat her with dignity, without compromise.
