When baby octopuses hatch from their eggs, they are fully formed, but very small. They weigh only 0.03 grams. You might think this makes them hard to see, but since the eggs are laid by the tens of thousands, they are easy to spot!

For a long time, it was believed that only mammals with large brains could recognize faces. But the simple honey bee overturned this theory.
Bees can distinguish many types of flowers, so it was thought that they could distinguish humans too. Scientists found that honey bees can recognize a familiar face, even days after they have been trained to do so.
Some insects and small birds see the world in slow motion
This is because they process more information per second than larger animals. This allows them to move quickly and accurately, which is vital for escaping predators.
They process information so quickly that time seems to move slowly for them.
