The 20-year-old cousin of Prince William and Harry has been found dead, foreign media reports. The victim is Rosie Roche and a gun was found near her.
The young woman was found by her mother and sister after she had been packing for a holiday with friends. The 20-year-old, who was the niece of Princess Diana's uncle, died at her family home in Norton, Wiltshire, on July 14.
"The Sun" writes that the police 'have treated the death as non-suspicious and there was no third party involvement'.
Rosie was a first year English Literature student at Durham University and was much loved for her energy, creativity and passion for books. Her family and friends have expressed their devastation at her loss.
Meanwhile, the "Yorkshore Post" wrote:
"Roche, Rosie Jeanne Burke, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. Beloved daughter of Hugh and Pippa, wonderful sister of Archie and Agatha, granddaughter of Derek and Rae Long. The funeral will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date."
The 20-year-old was a descendant of the Fermoy Barons and the eldest child of Hugh Burke Roche, 53, and Phillipa Kate Victoria Long.
