Actress and model Brigitte Nielsen has made strong statements during an interview for the Italian show "Belve", moderated by Francesca Fagnani, where she shared details of her marriage to Sylvester Stallone and the personal challenges she has experienced over the years.
According to her, her relationship with Stallone underwent immediate changes after marriage. Nielsen claims that she experienced a tense and difficult relationship, describing the actor as psychologically and physically harsh, while adding that she often felt threatened.
"Something changed on the wedding night. It was horrible, something I will never forget. He was very cruel, both psychologically and physically. He was obsessive. I felt in danger," she said during the interview.
Nielsen has also stressed that the separation from the actor had consequences for her Hollywood career. She claims that after the end of the marriage she faced professional difficulties and was excluded from important opportunities, attributing this to the influence of her ex-husband.
During the interview, the actress also spoke about difficult personal times, including her struggles with alcohol and mental health issues. She mentioned a suicide attempt, describing it as one of the most painful moments of her life.
"It was a terrible day. It broke half of my soul. I wanted peace. It brainwashed me. Like ISIS. I was no longer myself," she declared.
In addition to heavy topics, the interview also included lighter moments, where she shared an episode with singer Madonna, which she treated with humor.
