Miley Cyrus' love for tattoos can't go unnoticed, even if she's not entirely happy with many of her body arts. The pop star recently admitted that she has over 70 tattoos and regrets 80% of them. She even highlighted a few that she could have lived without. But despite her feelings, she can't stop inking her skin, revealing a new tattoo right after admitting what she regrets.
Miley Cyrus spoke openly about her complicated feelings about her tattoo collection in a New York Times video on June 2. “One mistake I made that I still think about is, like, 80 percent of my tattoos,” she said, adding, “I certainly don’t regret them enough to get a laser and have them removed.”
She showed off two tattoos on her arm inspired by her various pets, as some of the few she could live without.
"I love my cat, but I didn't need this," Cyrus said, pointing to the cat's little face on her left elbow.
"I love my dog, but I don't know. Having a pit bull in every picture for the rest of my life is a little intense," she also said, raising her right arm to show off her dog tattoo.
The singer got her first tattoo around her 17th birthday in late 2009, the phrase "Just Breathe" written on her chest, just below her heart. She got it in honor of a close friend who died of cystic fibrosis, as well as her grandparents who died of lung cancer.
