Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are expected to have a significant role in the 2026 Met Gala , as according to sources cited by Page Six , the couple has pledged up to $10 million to sponsor the event.

In addition to financial support, Bezos and Sánchez will also be honorary co-chairs of the event, alongside big names like Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour.
According to former Vogue editor William Norwich , the couple represents " the embodiment of the American dream" due to their wealth and influence, while emphasizing that they also enjoy the support of Anna Wintour.
