Shqipe Hysenaj has reacted harshly to a recent interview with Valdrin Sahiti, calling it "one of the most shameful things I've heard this month."
Because a video was made, Sahiti can be heard talking about famous figures and names that represent Kosovo and the world, mentioning Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, among others, as well as figures from international sports and fashion.
In the video, Valdrin Sahiti says:
"Who is Kosovo without me, who is Kosovo without Dua Lipa, who is Kosovo without Rita Ora. Italy without Juventus is not Italy. Who is France without Chanel and Dior. Italy without Inter is not Italy. What is Italy without Da Vinci?"
Hysenaj has published a long statement:
"One of the most shameful things I've heard this month. Who is Kosovo without Adem Jashari? Albania without Isa Boletini and Ismail Qemali, Skanderbeg? Without all the writers who have contributed to the Albanian language, there has been a warrior with the pen. Kosovo, with you, without you, you are only enjoying the fruits of those who have fought for the homeland and for freedom. You are a drop of water in the ocean, singers and stylists or what else are you, how can you be (with your rags) how can you not be, Kosovo remains an independent state. That's all for today and don't give it too much thought, because you have not contributed anything to Albania and Kosovo. You have not driven a single nail."
