The bitter news of the passing of Eldion Kelmendi, brother of artist Besart Kelmendi (Gjesti), has deeply affected public opinion and people close to the family.
Among them, the well-known actor Laert Vasili also reacted, expressing his condolences for the untimely loss that struck the Kelmendi family.
"The passing of Besart's brother, at such an early age, has shocked us all.
"I express my most sincere condolences to Besart and the Kelmendi family for this great and unexpected loss," Vasili wrote in a touching post on social media.
In a video shared online, the actor is seen hugging Besart and kissing him on the forehead, as a gesture of support in these difficult days for him and his family.
The serious incident occurred on Friday afternoon in the village of Qungur in Peja, where a motorcycle collided with a car on a bend in the road.
Eldion Kelmendi, Gjesti's younger brother, died at the scene, while another person was seriously injured and is under the care of doctors at the Peja Regional Hospital.
Residents of the area have recounted the first moments after the accident and have expressed their shock at this loss, demanding that authorities fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
Meanwhile, Gjesti, the winner of the latest edition of Big Brother VIP Albania, has not yet reacted publicly.
During his time in the most famous house in the country, he often spoke of his close bond with his brother, who is no longer alive today.
