A 60-year-old Albanian man has been arrested by Miami police in the US after being accused of sexually harassing a little girl in a swimming pool.
Skender Halili, residing in the Villa Laguna complex in SoLé Mia, is a name known to the American police for the incidents and violations committed.
According to local media, the incident happened around 11:30 in the morning on June 28 when Halili approached the 10-year-old girl, who was playing with diving toys in the pool.
Witnesses have reported that Halili deliberately positioned himself next to the girl and touched her in intimate places.
Later that day, around 3:00 p.m., Halili allegedly made another attempt to touch the girl inappropriately while she was swimming near the pool toys. A witness who was underwater observed the incident and immediately notified the authorities.
The police arrived at the scene and arrested Halili, who admitted that he touched the girl, but claims that it was accidental.
Surveillance cameras from the compound have captured numerous interactions between Halil and the 10-year-old, although specific incidents of touching were said to have occurred underwater and were not fully visible on camera.
Halil has been charged with molestation of a child under 12 years of age and attempted sexual molestation of a child under 12 years of age, as well as misdemeanor charges. He is in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
