Floriana Garo, invited to the show "S'e luan topi", has shown that she met her husband through the LindkedIn platform and after a month of intense talks, they decided to meet.
They had their first meeting in Italy and it was the meeting that determined that they would spend their lives together.
Floriana Garo: I met her online through the LindkedIn platform, which is unrelated, it is a professional platform, but that's where we decided to see each other. We followed an intense communication for almost a month before we decided to meet and when we met we had the same chemistry that we had even before we met.
Erjona Rusi: What impressed you the most from this month-long communication?
Floriana Garo: I was impressed by the fact that my husband did not recognize who I was. He didn't even know what I was doing and maybe he only saw me once on TV, but he didn't follow me. It intrigued me a lot and I was free to express myself. He has that nature to watch these shows, he is not behind the world of the screen and I told him everything from the beginning, as it came from me and how I felt it, not as he saw it in the shows or the things I had done during my shows. It has been a very sincere relationship where we have known each other from the beginning, very intensively. I was drawn to the seriousness of the relationship, his seriousness, his wit, many qualities that he has.
Florjana Garo, the volleyball player who became involved in fashion, has also engaged in politics.
For several years now, she has been standing by the side of former prime minister Sali Berisha.
While she said her husband was very supportive, the opposite was true of her mother-in-law, who she said she did not agree with at all. He even showed that they had some discussions.
"I offered myself to work in the Democratic Party, very naturally, and then when I received the offer I thought it was said to be done. The husband has been a very big supporter, I would say encouraging.
The mother-in-law has not been supportive. He did not want me to support Sali Berisha as a political figure. We have a lot of difference in views here. She herself was involved in politics and we wanted to see Albania realized, each in its own way. The same desire, but she looks at it differently than I do. This has created tensions in our relationship. Look, we have an open relationship with each other, we are like friends because she is also very youthful, both in appearance, in thoughts and actions. It was more of a 'friction' between friends. He tells me 'I know more, I'm older than you, you should listen to me' but in this case I didn't listen. I told him we won't talk about this anymore and we don't" - said Florjana.
