Amid the online debate, the poet's daughter reacted publicly by sharing personal details about her mother's life and the sacrifices she has made over the years for the family.
"For me and my sister, she has always been an ideal mother," she writes, while showing that the poet faced economic difficulties, but without allowing the children to feel deprived.
According to her, Ahmeti has cared for their education and well-being, often sacrificing personal comfort.
She also reveals that her mother has chosen not to have another relationship for nearly two decades, in order to fully dedicate herself to her daughters. "Her priority has always been us," the response reads.
Responding to criticism online, her daughter emphasizes that " a mother like Moza deserves a sky full of drones and parachutes," while explaining that the surprise came as a sign of love and longing.
Finally, she underlines that Mimoza Ahmeti's behavior within the format is part of the spectacle and should not be judged outside the context of the game.
