It seems that Albanian politicians are the most regular followers of Big Brother, possibly of all editions, even the non-VIP ones. On the lists for the May 11 elections, you can see not a few, but four former Big Brother residents, who will be candidates for MPs.
Fotini Derxho, who won Big Brother 9 and then competed in Big Brother Albania Vip 2, is reported to be leading the list of candidates for Agron Shehaj's 'Mundësia' party in the Gjirokastra district.
Tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri, or the Maestro of Big Brother 2, since he was not reinstated in TKOB, even though he won the trial, has considered running in these elections under the Democratic Party logo. It is suspected that he may run in his hometown, Gramsh.
Jetmir Salaj, winner of Big Brother 3 and resident of Big Brother Vip 3, has been lured by Adriatik Lapaj's 'Shqipëria Bëhet' party. Jetmir was known as a person who quarreled with everyone, which is a very valuable 'quality' for being a politician.
Julia Ilirjani, the actress who entered Big Brother Vip 3, gained almost nothing from her experience on the reality show, but at least the public reminded her that she had been completely forgotten. Finding herself unemployed, Julia would not be a bad idea to try her luck as a member of parliament.
