The Albanian singer Rita Ora burst into tears as she discussed the difficulties she faced at the height of her fame.
During the Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast, she explained: “I was on a roller coaster, living my dream, but then when I woke up it would be kind of quiet and I wouldn't feel good. There was a feeling that I had to work to prove myself, I was a young, naive dreamer and that's exactly what you have to be at that age."
When asked about failures during her career, Rita said: “Some things didn't chart as you wanted or you didn't make decisions that might not have been right. Mistakes happen."
Talking about how she handles this part, Rita added:
"I feel broken, it makes me feel like everything I've done is about to disappear and it brings me back to the fear of losing everything. When the world is watching you, you just break down, you just get scared. All I think about is my mum and dad, because they have worked so hard to get me to this point, I have my whole family to support.
You can't always stop blaming yourself for everything, the only way is to keep moving forward. I've always tried to be myself and be very honest and I've never changed who I am, I don't always get it right, but who does. But I feel more human, after all I'm just human."
