One of the topics discussed yesterday evening on 'Goca dhe Gra' was "Stepmother, a misunderstood figure...?".
And being in such a position herself, with her partner's children, Rudina Dembacaj decided to speak openly about the role of stepmother. She is married to Mark Frroku, who has three children.
"I am a stepmother, it is a very big challenge and a very difficult thing because biologically, at least I always start from myself when I give opinions on things that I have experienced. Biologically I was not ready for 4 children, so I was the mother of a minor child and then I fell in love and married a man who has 3 children. Of course it is a very big and difficult challenge, but the moment there is love in the middle, it becomes the most beautiful thing in the world. So, a family with 3 surnames, managing to become compact is a very big achievement, despite the fact that there are various ups and downs," Rudina initially said.
Asked by Ori Nebijaj: "Have you felt this sense of prejudice in society and in people?"
"The environment in which children are surrounded is very important. My children are surrounded by a loving environment and I say that I have had this kind of luck, to have a loving environment towards me, but not everyone. There have also been people who have hurt them intentionally by attacking me. They have made them feel bad, letting them understand that the cause of their feeling bad may be me. Time has since revealed many things and it is not that they have been left without answers from me. It has been difficult, but my friends have helped me a lot.
It became a little more difficult when the children reached adolescence. The role of a stepmother is a very big thing when you reach a point where you can no longer separate the children. If I had one of those favorites before, when the moment came that I could no longer separate them, that's when I understood and said, these are really my children. We have been in this relationship for 6 years and when the difficulties of adolescence reached, which were not few, I found support in my friends. Of course, in my family, in my mother, in my sister and in my husband, who has never rejected all my investment. But my friends who had teenage children helped me a lot, we exchanged experiences. Gentian Zenelaj I love you very much, we shared experiences and I understood that even your biological child is difficult in adolescence, not to mention having your partner's children. "I am now at a stage where I am very grateful to God that for Viktoria there are two sisters and a brother," said the famous actress.
