He pretended to be a boy and sexually abused a 19-year-old English woman: I told

A girl from England pretended to be a man to repeatedly sexually abuse a girl, a court was told.

Georgia Bilham, 21, is accused of creating a fake Snapchat account and pretending to be a man named George Parry to message a 19-year-old girl.

Four years after they started talking online, the pair started dating.

Bilham, from Tarporley, Cheshire, dressed as a man and wore a hat all the time. This story has lasted since May 2021 until August of this year.

She persuaded the 19-year-old girl to take off her glasses, so as not to see well. The girl had vision problems and could not see objects clearly beyond 13.5 cm from her face. Every time the pair saw each other, Bilham asked the girl to take off her glasses, prosecutors said Monday.

Bilham regularly performed sexual acts on the 19-year-old and told her that she could not undress because she was ashamed of a wound she had received from an Albanian criminal gang.

At the next court hearing, several audio recordings will be released showing that Bilham spoke with a male voice and a Birmingham accent.

The first night they kissed, on May 10, 2021, they were in Bilham's car. She was stopped by police and panicked because her identity might be revealed, said a prosecutor named Anna Pope. When police asked her for details, she was forced to use her real name, Georgia, and this raised suspicions among the victim.

According to the court, Bilham justified to the girl that the license was fake, with a fake name, because he was not qualified to drive the car. The 19-year-old gave Bilham just one day to prove that he is a man, and she sent him a photo of a young boy with blonde hair. Despite her doubts, the 19-year-old believed her and they continued the relationship.

Asked in court if she would have allowed him to touch her if she had known she was a girl, she said, 'no, it makes me feel sick, I'm not gay.'

Things eventually came to light after the 19-year-old's mother told her that George is a girl and she broke down in tears. After revealing her identity, George deleted her Snapchat account under her fake name and revealed that she doesn't dress like a boy in everyday life.

The accuser, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told detectives Bilham needs "serious help".

Bilham has been charged with nine counts of sexual assault and eight counts of penetration, all of which she denies.

The trial continues.
