The defense lawyers of the well-known rapper, P. Diddy have again asked the court to order the witnesses not to give statements outside the court, due to the great media attention that the scandal has received.
Witness Courtney Burgess has given many interviews over the last few days, including his lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, while the creator of the hit "I'll Be Missing You" has called these statements untrue and intended to smear his name.
Mitchell says he was invited to testify because he was present and saw several explicit videos, in which Diddy and other celebrities are seen having intimate relations.
Diddy's legal team, based on court documents, has stated that authorities have been investigating the rapper's case for nearly a year. They have stated that not treating these claims as fraud, conspiracies on social networks are continuing to spread and create lies while they think that their client may not be judged fairly, as a result of the media attention that his case has received.
