Diddy is reportedly planning a comeback, with a performance scheduled at Madison Square Garden in New York City. His legal team, Mark Anifillo, told CBS Mornings that the 55-year-old rapper and music producer wants to return to the stage.
“He’s going back to Madison Square Garden – and I told him I’ll be there,” Anifillo said in an interview.
According to him, the rapper also expressed a desire to “go back to his mother and the people who love him and miss him.” Anifillo added, “I think he wants to get out of prison, reconnect with his seven children.”
When asked by the reporter if Diddy has spoken to him about returning to music, the lawyer replied: “No – honestly, he hasn’t – okay, one thing he said, he said he’s going to come back to Madison Square Garden.” When asked “What’s he going to do?”, Anifillo replied: “I think he’ll be on stage, you know?”
The rapper's lawyer commented about his client, among other things: "I think he is a man who will always try to do something extraordinary, something demanding and provocative."
The discussion about the rapper's future plans comes at a time when his legal team has begun contacts with President Donald Trump's administration, exploring the possibility of a presidential pardon.
