Francesca Pascale, in an interview for 'Le Iene', has openly confessed all her pain for the loss of Silvio Berlusconi. "I dedicate every joy to him, always. I miss him terribly, every day. Above all, I miss my best friend. No one could give me better advice than him. I would pay, I would give up all the privileges of my life, just to have another year with him."
Her relationship with Berlusconi began in 2010 and lasted for about ten years. Due to the large age difference between them (Berlusconi was 49 years older), their relationship attracted a lot of media attention. Even after the breakup, she has spoken of him with respect and affection. In recent years, Pascale has been involved in social causes, especially in support of LGBTQ+ rights. In 2022, she married Italian singer Paola Turci, making their marriage one of the most high-profile in Italy. However, in 2024, it was reported that the couple had separated.
She calls the relationship with Berlusconi unique and has left an irreplaceable void in her life.
There is no more phone call before bed, there is no more that voice that calms you, that makes you not feel alone. I didn't have the chance to greet him. That was something terrible. I didn't have the chance to greet my President, who no one can give back to me. That is the greatest pain of my life.
She added that Berlusconi has always been wonderful to her.
He gave me the economic freedom to do what I wanted in life. I opened a real estate company, I deal with properties, with restorations, it was something I liked and only thanks to him I was able to do this. So, gratitude to the last drop of my blood. I realized that I liked women when I was 6 years old. I said to my mother: 'Mom, Berlusconi called me'. My whole family, having dinner, saw me and started laughing. They said: 'Well, this is crazy'. But then I spoke to her again about him, and in the end she said to me: 'There is a man who could be your father, be careful what you do'.
When they tied the knot in 2010, Berlusconi was 74 years old, while Francesca was 25. But the age difference has never been a problem for her:
I like people older than me. Before the President, I had a relationship with a much older woman. I was 19, she was 60. I swear! I have never had a younger boyfriend, ever in my life.
