International star Rihanna has reportedly left Los Angeles after a terrifying incident at her Beverly Hills mansion, where a gunman opened fire on the singer's property. Los Angeles police responded to calls of shots fired at around 1:15 p.m. Sunday. Thankfully, Rihanna was home at the time, but no one was injured.
According to TMZ reports, Rihanna was spotted departing Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, with her bags being transported to Van Nuys Airport.
Authorities arrested 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, who was charged with attempted murder, and set bail at about $10.2 million.
The attacker reportedly used an AR-15 rifle and fired from a car into the house, one bullet penetrating the wall of the villa. Police located her car, a white Tesla, about 8 miles away at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center, where Ortiz was arrested. During the search, an assault rifle and seven rounds of ammunition were found.
The motive for the incident has not yet been revealed, and there is no reported personal connection between Ortiz and Rihanna. However, some media outlets suggested that Ortiz had previously posted about the singer on social media.
