The official poster for the 2026 World Cup has been unveiled as the latest in a collection of tournament posters, combining representative elements from the three host countries: Canada, Mexico and the United States.
This release concludes the series of 16 official posters of the host cities, presented during 2025. This year's tournament will mark a record 104 matches, starting on June 11 at the Mexico City stadium and ending with the final on July 19 at the New York stadium.
The poster features a collage-like composition, with a football player at the center, aiming to reflect the ability of sport to unite different cultures and nations. According to FIFA, for the first time in the history of the World Cup, three artists have collaborated to create the official poster of the tournament.
Canadian artist Carson Ting, Mexican artist Menerva GM, and American artist Hank Willis Thomas have combined their creative style and approach to create a work that emphasizes connection and unification throughout the tour.
In an official statement, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said that within 100 days the organization will welcome the world to North America for "the greatest show on earth."
According to him, the official poster of the 2026 World Cup “captures the energy, diversity and shared passion” that is expected to characterize the most inclusive edition in the history of the tournament. He emphasized that from the first match to the grand final, billions of fans in stadiums and around the globe will experience moments that, according to him, “transcend football”, bringing together cultures and celebrating unity on a global stage.
