Cristiano Ronaldo has not left Saudi Arabia to return to Spain, despite reports on Tuesday morning suggesting otherwise.
Speculation began after the Portuguese star's private jet was spotted landing in Madrid at 1:32 a.m. on Tuesday, after taking off from Riyadh airport the previous evening. The plane's presence in the Spanish capital was interpreted as a possible sign of the footballer's departure from Saudi Arabia, amid reports of an Iranian drone attack on the US embassy in Riyadh.
However, the news was not confirmed. According to available information, Ronaldo was not on the plane in question and on Tuesday afternoon he trained regularly with his team, Al Nassr.
Ronaldo's private jet, a Bombardier Global Express (model LX-GOL / SVW7B) worth around €70 million, has a capacity of up to 19 passengers and is equipped for long-haul flights. It was recently used by the footballer's partner, Georgina Rodríguez, to travel to Milan for Fashion Week.
Until now, there has been no official statement from the footballer himself or from the Al Nassr club regarding speculation about a possible departure from Saudi Arabia.
