The latest reports from the Greek media are truly "bombastic".

According to Greek media, Panathinaikos coach Rafael Benitez has asked the club's management to sign the 24-year-old Albanian in the January transfer window, and it is even alleged that the first contacts have begun. Mehmeti is a player who can play several roles, starting from midfielder, as a "10" and winger.
