Former NBA star Rajon Rondo was arrested in Indiana on Sunday for illegal possession of firearms and drugs.
It is the well-known NBA journalist, Adrian Vojnarovski, who broke the news about Rondo's arrest.
" He was stopped for a traffic violation and the officer smelled cannabis, which led to a search of the car in which a gun, cannabis for personal use and drug paraphernalia were found ," a police spokesman said.
Rondo was taken to jail, after which he immediately applied for bail and all charges against him are misdemeanors.
