The Belgian club Meshelen, through an official communique, has announced the departure of the Albanian coach, Besnik Hasi, at the end of the season. According to this announcement, the cooperation between the two parties was terminated by mutual agreement.
" The club thanks Besnik for the excellent series he has achieved and thus led the club towards a dream. The club needs time to look for a coach for the new season ," the announcement said, among other things. Regarding his departure from the club, Hasi himself spoke briefly.
" The players have to prove themselves with a new coach. I regret my departure. I loved working here. I did my job here. When I arrived the team was in bad shape, but after that we achieved the results of a champion team.
We even fought for first place until the last game. Would I have stayed if we had reached the Champions League play-offs? I do not know. I hope that the club will show the right performances for the next season ", said Hasi at the press conference.
We remember that Hasi did an excellent job with Mesheleni, as he has recently attracted the interest of many clubs. The Albanian coach is reported to be close to the agreement with the Gent club, which has major ambitions and will seek the title of champion next season.
