The Turkish Football Federation has made the first decision regarding the case of Rei Manaj and the incident in the match against Gallatasaraj. After the furious reactions after the match where an intervention by the Albanian striker injured Jillmaz of Gallatasaraj, it seems that everyone is back down to earth.
Various people have requested that the Albanian striker of Sivaspor be punished, although the decision not to give him a red card was taken by the main referee of the match. But in the list sent for review of incidents to the Disciplinary Commissions of the Turkish Federation, the Manaj episode in question is not mentioned at any time.
Thus, it seems that this was assessed as a game foul and that the mistake was the referee's not awarding the red card as it should have happened. Therefore, the footballer is not responsible for his non-punishment. Moreover, the failure to send Manaj's name to the disciplinary committee suggests that his foul was logically interpreted as part of the game and there was no malice on the part of the Albanian attacker. Therefore, it is foreseen that there will be no disciplinary sanctions against him, always if the situation does not change in the following days.
