Dritan Mehmeti has ended his adventure with Dinamo as of today.
The capital coach made this decision for the future, after he was informed by the club leaders about a change in the cooperation between them, which means that he was offered another position, but Mehmeti did not accept it.
It was an expected move, given the recent developments, with the 'Dinamo City' project and the approach of several other shareholders.
Contacted by "Panorama Sport", coach Dritan Mehmeti said: " Yes, I am no longer part of Dinamo. I took over the management of this team at a very difficult moment last season, a very delicate moment. We achieved a success by climbing to Superiore and we had started preparations for the new season.
A club manager contacted me today to inform me of the decision. My work ends here and I wish success to Dinamo in the future. I thank Dinamo fans for their support ."
Now it is expected that the direction of Dinamo will be taken by the Italian coach Luigi Di Biaxo, with whom the club has reached an agreement.
At the beginning of next week, the capital team will go to Italy for the continuation of the preparatory phase, and there the new coach will start work, which will most likely have his staff.
