The son of former Albanian National Football Team player, Erjon Bogdani, has been called up for the first time by the Italian U-15 national team.

Aleksandër Bogdani seems to be following in his father's footsteps, but unlike Erjoni, he has chosen the Italian national team.

The news was published by "Tuttomercatoweb", which has highlighted the Albanian's inclusion in the group. The U-15 team trained a few days ago at the Federal Technical Center in Catanzaro.

During that training, a friendly match was also held between 44 players, born in 2011, from teams in Southern Italy.

The next matches will take place in Coverciano on October 30 for the Central-Northern Italy selection, and in Rome on November 6 for the Central Italy selection.
This will be followed by the usual Christmas Tournament, scheduled for 21 to 23 November in Novarello, and once the squad is finalised, the UEFA Development Tournament, scheduled for 14 to 20 December in England.
As for former national team striker Erjon Bogdani, the latter also played in the Italian football championship in the last years of his career.
