Mirlind Daku may be the newest addition to the National Team and nothing prevents him from being a part of the Reds and Blacks. The striker who played for Kukës in Superiore and who shone with Mura in Slovenia, is officially an Albanian citizen.
The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has decreed that the striker, who is equipped in this way, receives an Albanian passport, having the opportunity to play in official matches with the team led by the Brazilian Silvinho.
The 25-year-old attacker was not invited to the last matches by coach Zhires for Kosovo and in an interview, he said that he would represent Albania with all his heart. Now, it is expected that Daku will be the newest addition to the Albanian National Team and Silvinjo will be part of the group that is representing the red and black colors in the "EURO 2024" qualifiers that will be played next year in Germany.
Albania has played 3 matches so far and is in second place in Group E with 6 points, one less than the leading Czech Republic.
