Activists of the environmental group "Futuro Vegetal" have found an original way of protest, after they entered and vandalized the luxury villa of Lionel Messi in Ibiza in protest against the rich who are not doing anything to stop the climate crisis that the world is experiencing.
They painted the walls of the Argentinian star's villa with black and red paint, as they then posted photos of this act of vandalism and their protest on their social networks.

" We painted Mesi's illegal villa in Ibiza. La Mansion is an illegal construction that the footballer bought for the crazy figure of 11 million euros. While something like this happens, only in the Balearic Islands have people died as a direct result of the heat wave. The richest 1% of the population is responsible for the same amount of carbon dioxide production as the poorest 2/3. This is only possible thanks to the support of the public power of an economic-social system that threatens life ", the activists wrote in their post.
Mesi bought the villa in question in 2022, but according to the Spanish media, he cannot live in it yet, as he has not received a permit, since several rooms were built in this apartment without obtaining the relevant permits.
