The Olympic Games gave a fantastic show, a race that will be remembered for a long time, precisely in the most important discipline, in Athletics, in the men's 100 meters race. A challenge in the full sense of the word crazy, where the winner was decided by a photo finish. American sprinter Noah Lyles was declared the winner of the most prestigious competition in athletics, giving his country a gold medal, but more importantly, returning the USA to the top of this discipline.
Noah defeated the Jamaican Kishane Thompson, but the difference at this point was only a few thousandths of a second, as the Jamaican athlete finished with the same time, 9.79 seconds. In fact, the illusion was created in the stadium that the Jamaican was the winner, as his leg was clearly ahead, but in athletics, unlike football, the upper part of the body is important, this very detail gave the American athlete the gold medal.
In the third place, the bronze medal was secured by the American Fred Kerley with a time of 9.81 seconds, while the Italian Jacobs, the reigning Olympic champion, finished in 5th place.
