Kosovo national football player and Juventus striker Edon Zhegrova has become a father for the first time. The news was not confirmed directly by the player himself, who has kept his private life away from the public eye, but was announced through a post on social media by his mother, Sanije Zhegrova.
In a post on her Instagram account, she shared a photo from the "Città della Salute e della Scienza" hospital in Turin, where she said her grandson was born. In the caption accompanying the image, Sanije Zhegrova expressed her emotions about the baby's birth.
According to the information published by her, the baby is a boy and has been baptized with the name Mars, given that he was born on March 12, 2026.
The post also states that the newborn weighs 3250 grams and is in good health.
The Zhegrova family currently lives in Turin, the city where the footballer transferred to Juventus last summer. So far, the player himself has not made any public comments regarding the birth of the child.
