Elbasan has achieved a very important victory in the 33rd week of the Superior Category, defeating Vllaznia with a score of 3-1 at "Elbasan Arena".
The yellow-blue tigers took the lead in the 22nd minute with Blaise's goal. In the 39th minute, Lajthia doubled the score for Elbasan, taking the yellow-blue team to the break with a 2-0 lead.
Edi Martini's Shkodran team managed to bring back the excitement in the 73rd minute with Qato's goal, but their joy lasted only four minutes. In the 77th minute, Lajthia scored the third goal for Elbasan (and his second), sealing the definitive 3-1 victory.
With this success, Elbasan reaches 62 points and surpasses Vllaznia in the standings, moving two points ahead of the red and blues. Flamurtari deals a heavy blow to Dinamo – 3-1 in Vlora.
In the other match of the 33rd week, Flamurtari i Vlorës, the last team in the standings, defeated Dinamo with the score 3-1. Dinamo took the lead early, in the 7th minute with Koman's goal. The equalizer came quickly, in the 18th minute, with Maksuti's goal. The 21-year-old talent Maksuti became the absolute protagonist of the match, scoring twice in the second half, in the 55th and 73rd minutes, thus giving Flamurtari a very important victory in the fight for survival.
After this victory, Flamurtari reaches 32 points, while Dinamo remains anxious for a place in the "Final 4", which would ensure their participation in the European Cups next season.
