There was no winner in the Serie A matchday 34 between AC Milan and Juventus. The two teams, aiming to qualify for next season's Champions League, were separated by one point each after a 0-0 draw at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium (San Siro).
The game was largely tactical and lacking in emotion, especially in the first 30 minutes of the first half. The first to try seriously was Adrien Rabiot, but his attempt was stopped by goalkeeper Di Gregorio. Then Juventus came into action, but a goal by Khephren Thuram was disallowed for offside.
Mike Maignan intervened with his chest to stop an attempt by Francisco Conceição, keeping the score 0-0 until the break. At the start of the second half, Milan created the best chance of the match: Alexis Saelemaekers hit the crossbar.
Later Youssouf Fofana and Bremer also tried, but without success. In the last minutes there was no change and the teams were divided by a draw. This result does not change the situation in the standings much. Milan remains in third place with 66 points, while Juventus is in fourth place with 63 points.
Behind them, Como and Roma follow with 61 points each, keeping the pressure on for the Champions League places. This draw leaves both teams with the taste of a point gained, but also with the regret of the missed opportunity to move further away in the race for Europe.
