Michael Shumaker's health since suffering a serious skiing accident in 2013 has remained private, with his family keeping information about his treatment and progress under wraps.
Little and limited information has leaked over the years and recent reports claim that the 7-time Formula 1 champion continues to receive care at his home in Switzerland under the supervision of specialist doctors and physiotherapists.
However, there are no details on his specific health condition, as the family has asked the media and the public to respect their privacy. The fact is that Shumaker is alive and sales of everything related to him continue...
Next up is the F1 248, which the German legend raced in Formula 1 in the 2006 season, which is up for auction.

From November 14 onwards, however, anyone rich around the world who wants to own a piece of history in the legendary 'marriage' between Scuderia Ferrari and Michael Schumacher will be able to do so.
The reason lies in the fact that the F1 248, the Italian team's car from the 2006 Formula 1 season, is being auctioned through RM Sotheby's.
This particular chassis number is 254 and relates to the fact that Shumaker achieved five victories that season in his, as it turned out, unsuccessful attempt to win his eighth world title.
With the F1 248, in fact, the German legend surpassed Airton Senna's pole position record, a few months before announcing at Monza that he would retire at the end of the year.
The 2006 Ferrari, then, was the Scuderia's first V8 (2.4 liter) car since 1964, with a maximum output of 800 horsepower.

The current owner purchased the F1 248 from the Italian team itself in December 2007, and even received Ferrari Classiche Red Book certification in 2008.
RM Sotheby's has not yet said how much it expects to receive, although there is still time until November 14 when the auction begins.
