The latest decision of the European Court of Justice gives the right to the creation of the European Super League. The Football Federation of Kosovo has maintained an official position, as it writes that it will support UEFA and FIFA, thus expressing itself against the Superliga.
" The Football Federation of Kosovo strongly supports UEFA and the football system that is based on solidarity and sports merit. While we are faced with projects such as "Super Liga", which aim to separate from the basic sports values and solidarity, FFK reiterates its unreserved support to UEFA in combating such threats.
The so-called "Super League" project does not respect the values of sports merit and aims to destroy the system of football competitions. FFK sees this project as a threat to the integrity and unity of football, putting at risk the entire structure of football, which since the establishment of UEFA has promoted the competition and development of football. The Football Federation of Kosovo will continue to strongly support UEFA and take the necessary joint actions to prevent any attempt to divide football. We believe that the right and the power are on the side of the system based on sports merit, and that the threat of projects like "Super League" will fail and will be faced with resistance and unity of the clubs and all football fans.
FFK urges all football participants to join this important cause to protect the integrity and values of our beloved sport. Those who intend to separate from the football family that raised them will face rejection and criticism from the football community. FFK believes that unity and belief in sports values will always win over division and narrow interests.
