Fiorentina are no longer interested in signing striker Mirlind Daku. At least that's what Russian media outlet Euro-Football wrote on Wednesday. Fiorentina had expressed interest in the Rubin Kazan striker and there were reports of a €20 million transfer.
But in the meantime, the Italian club's interest has faded, while there are no other concrete offers for Daku. Fiorentina recently approached Italian striker Pikoli, while this seems to have closed the "door" to Daku.
Rubin Kazan coach Rashid Rakhimov, however, has left open the possibility of the Kosovar leaving. He was asked if the team is ready to be without a striker like Daku.
" We are not ready. We only have two strikers. This should not happen in a club with goals. But if there is a specific offer, we will not be able to do anything ," Rakhimov said.
