
Former Argentina defender Luis Galvan has died at the age of 77 after suffering from pneumonia. He was a starter and played in all of Argentina's matches at the 1978 World Cup, where they won the World Cup.
A legend of Talleres de Cordoba, where he remains the most capped player in the club's history, he also took part in the 1982 World Cup, leaving the mark of Graziani and Rossi in the lost match against Italy.
