England coach Thomas Tuchel has released his 35-man squad for the next two matches and Real Madrid midfielder Trent Alexander-Arnold has been left out of the national team once again.
Trent was expecting a call-up from the manager nine months later, but the right-back has been surprisingly left out. He has not played a minute for England since June 2025 in a qualifier against Andorra. At the time, Trent was still a Liverpool player.
Recovering from a thigh injury that sidelined him for two months, and having started five of his last six games for Real Madrid, Trent was ready to convince Tuchel that he deserves a place in the squad to travel to the United States, Mexico and Canada next summer.
