Barcelona could be affected by the 'Negreira case' in Europe. Two UEFA inspectors have concluded that the Catalan club should be penalized for payments to Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, the former vice-president of the Spanish Referees' Technical Committee, between 2001 and 2018, ABC reports.
The president of the highest European body, Alexander Ceferin, is now debating between two possible ways: to open a file and wait for the solution of the Spanish justice, or to leave Barcelona out of the European Cups for a year.
