The entire football world is shocked by the tragic loss of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, who were separated from life on Wednesday night in Zamora, northern Spain, after a dramatic road accident.
The two footballers were traveling in a car that, according to initial reconstructions by Spanish police, went off the road due to a flat tire. After the collision, the vehicle burst into flames, leaving no chance of escape for the two brothers.
The bodies of Diogo Zhota and André Silva, already removed from the Zamora Institute of Forensic Medicine, arrived in Gondomar on Thursday evening. The funeral will be held on Saturday morning, at 10:00, at the Igreja Matriz de Gondomar, as confirmed by the Portuguese daily "A Bola".
Meanwhile, the funeral ceremony will take place today (Friday, July 4) at around 4:00 PM, at the Church of the Resurrection, where friends and relatives will have the opportunity to say their final goodbyes (the video published by ' Record' , with footage of the family's arrival, is chilling). This tragedy has deeply shocked not only the world of sports, but also the entire country, which now stands by the family and the local community.
