The Kosovar basketball referee, Daut Mehmeti, has been expelled from FIBA, as he is involved in match fixing.

According to the official website of the highest basketball institution (FIBA), the penalty has already been imposed on Mehmet. He has refereed six matches of Makabi Haifa in his last nine appearances on the floor. 

"Koha.net" reports that another Kosovar judge is said to be involved, although they have not revealed names.
