Ibra and Tare, what will the relationship between the two be at Milan?

Igli Tare and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In the coming hours, the two will begin to share the same spaces, the same environment, the same operational meetings, although with very different roles.

But what will (could) their relationship be? The passing of the weeks will shed light on this aspect, but certainly at first glance there do not appear to be any potential critical problems.

Tare and Ibra bring with them two worlds that have not had any special connection, except on the field, of course.

There is an indisputable starting point: both center forwards, both with strong character, both crazy about goals, both extremely serious in their approach to the profession.

But there are other points in common: for example, the fact that they began their careers as managers immediately after saying goodbye to football. Lotito immediately convinced Tara to sit behind a desk, and Cardinale did the same with Ibrahimovic.

If there's one thing that separates them, it's the registry office. Practically a generation apart: Igli was born in '73, Ibra was born in '81. The former stopped playing in 2008, less than a month before his 35th birthday, the latter defied football immortality by retiring - with great difficulty - at the age of 41.

When Igli stopped, Ibra won the championship and the top scorer ranking with Inter. This is the huge time gap that separates them in their current respective professions: Tare is an experienced sports director, trained by a demanding and complex employer like Lotito, while Ibra is a novice in the learning phase, coming from a season of great suffering both professionally and personally, linked more to the club's ownership than to the club itself.

The two have always had a deep respect for each other, perhaps recognizing themselves in the same vision for the work.

Demanding people, who believe in discipline and who expect a lot, but at the same time offer support. The first time they saw each other in their new roles was in London in early March, when Tare, Cardinale and Ibra sat around the same table for the first time, trying to figure out if they could share a common path.

Since then, things have changed within Milan. The season, already complicated at the time, finally took a turn for the worse and one of the side effects was the almost total public disappearance of Ibrahimovic.

The Swede remains seated in his chair as a superconsultant for the world of the Rossoneri, but the balance in the belly of Milan will need to be remodeled and, above all, clarified.

Especially now that a new manager is about to arrive, with very specific tasks.
